    good breakfast selection
    strict food rules

The rooms are well appointed and breakfast offers a good

Selection of options that are both tasty and filling. The location is excellent, right in the heart of Newtown, with easy access to cafes and shops. the strict rules regarding food in the rooms were somewhat uncomfortable.

A few things you should know

The delightful touches in the room—like a selection of teas and fresh milk—made my stay immensely enjoyable. Breakfast options were plentiful, featuring locally-sourced ingredients and well-cooked meals.

Despite the enjoyable stay, noise from nearby pubs was distracting at night, impacting my sleep quality during my visit.

What an incredible stay! The bed was the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in and the cooked breakfast was a feast featuring locally sourced ingredients! Just be aware of the noise from the street at night.

    generous breakfast
    noisy environment

The breakfast featured generous portion sizes and was made using high-quality, locally sourced ingredients, which truly elevated the morning experience.

The room was prone to outside noise, particularly during the weekend, which disrupted our sleep on both nights.

The rooms are beautifully appointed, sporting a luxury feel at budget pricing, and the beds are incredibly comfortable, ranked among the best I've encountered on my travels. Breakfast portions are generous and utilize local produce, making for a satisfying start to the day.

Accessing the upper floors can be a hassle due to narrow and steep stairs, which can be quite tricky if you've got luggage. the nearby clock chimes every 15 minutes around the clock, making for a potentially restless night and disturbing the peace, particularly for light sleepers. There's also a significant presence of CCTV, which some may find intrusive, alongside a strict policy on food in rooms, leading to discomfort if you happen to order something that the management deems 'hot food. clean rooms
    tasty choices
    street noise

Had a great time with friends! The rooms were clean and comfy, and breakfast had tons of tasty choices. We visited a couple of local sites like the castle and nearby trails which were fun. Highly recommend this place for a group getaway. Tina was really welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed.

One thing to keep in mind is the noise from the street at night, which might disrupt light sleepers.

    lovely room
    friendly staff
    amazing breakfast
    noise from street
    parking hassle

the room was lovely and had lots of little extras like homemade cake and fresh milk. the staff were super friendly and made us feel right at home, especially tina who let us park right outside. breakfast was amazing, with local produce and the best bacon ever! everything was super clean and comfy, like sleeping on a cloud. can't wait to come back!

the noise from the street at night was a bit much and made it hard to sleep. also, the parking situation could be a hassle if you don't get there early.

    Exceptional hospitality and delicious breakfast

I had a fantastic stay with lovely touches like homemade brownies upon arrival, and the breakfast was outstanding with a great selection of options, including fresh ingredients and cooked meals. The room was beautifully decorated, and the bed was one of the comfiest I've ever experienced. Tina, the owner, was incredibly welcoming and made sure we felt at home throughout our stay. The only thing to note is that accessing the stairs with luggage might be tricky for some.

    thoughtful touches
    impressive breakfast
    slight noise disruption
    disruptive street noise
    nighttime disturbances

The room was spotlessly clean with thoughtful touches like a well-stocked hospitality tray featuring a variety of teas, including herbal options. The breakfast impressed with locally sourced ingredients and perfectly cooked options, though noise from the street was slightly disruptive at night. Despite that, the warm welcome from the staff made the experience enjoyable overall.
