The rooms are beautifully appointed, sporting a luxury feel at budget pricing, and the beds are incredibly comfortable, ranked among the best I've encountered on my travels. Breakfast portions are generous and utilize local produce, making for a satisfying start to the day.
Accessing the upper floors can be a hassle due to narrow and steep stairs, which can be quite tricky if you've got luggage. the nearby clock chimes every 15 minutes around the clock, making for a potentially restless night and disturbing the peace, particularly for light sleepers. There's also a significant presence of CCTV, which some may find intrusive, alongside a strict policy on food in rooms, leading to discomfort if you happen to order something that the management deems 'hot food.
